Ladygod is a singular vision of love for the impossibilities of this world. we look to the unexplained, the edges where our senses distort and decay into the shiny black pupils of our eyes. we’re not sure why we love rock n roll, we just do.

Formed by Skye Handler (Viva Viva, Beat Awfuls & Razorektors), this cult-fiction rock n roll band from Richmond, Va finds common ground with influences ranging from Chuck Berry to Mazzy Star, from the Rolling Stones to Spiritualized. by synthesizing lo-fi cowboy antics with an artist’s direction, the group delivers seductive psych-blues in an enigmatic package.

In 2015, they released two 7” records, ‘the Pebbles’ and ‘Ladygod #2’, and in 2017 released their debut full-length album, ‘Rock n Roll Kaliphate’ on Bossy Lil Thing records. Another full-length is slated for release in 2019.

Also worshiping at the altar: Kelly Queener (guitar, vocals), Kate Rears Burgman (bass), and Seth Petersen (drums).

Like the landmark from which the band takes its name, Washington, DC's Skyline Hotel has always tried to embody one thing: escapism. What originated as a personal therapeutic project for singer Jon Lee to deal with his adversity soon became a set of songs his brother and lead guitarist/producer Jeff Lee could not ignore. From bedroom demos to local clubs, the brothers began to cultivate a modern blend of pop and rock that was as fun as it was vital. Expanding to include organist/bassist Zack Be and veteran drummer Jason Hayes, the band has become a full blown pop/rock powerhouse. With two EPs under its belt - including 2016's Sparks of Light - and a constant gigging schedule that has found the band performing at The 9:30 Club and The National Mall and sharing the stage with nationally and internationally touring acts such as Echo & the Bunnymen, Zella Day, Kitten, and Hippo Campus, this songwriting quartet is only just hitting its stride. Still, Skyline Hotel is, at its core, just four musicians charting an escape from the realities of everyday life, seeking what only music can deliver.

"The skill that Sparks Of Light reflects both literally and figuratively allows for a perfect pop set-up, one that’s clever but never cloying, effortless while still engaging." - No Depression

“Incredibly brilliant... could be played on any radio station across the world." - Stencil Magazine

Raised in the Shenandoah Valley, magic mountain girl and indie-folkish songwriter Maddi Mae likes to hide in the quieter corners of Virginia. “She’s a local artist who plays the guitar with an intuitive spirit, writes lyrics that spill directly from her soul, and sings like a tortured angel,” wrote Krysta Norma of Warrenton Lifestyle Magazine. Her sound is one part dark, dissonant, and heavy and another part romantic, airy, and delicate. Combining classic country, folk, and indie rock influences, Maddi Mae’s sound is reverb-heavy guitar (fingerstyle and big, sometimes jazzy, open-ended chords) and a distinct voice that is powerful, dynamic, haunting, and yet sweet at the same time. She released her debut 2-song EP Too Good to Be True / Sunshine on April 6th, 2019 and is currently recording her next releases with Lore Audio Productions in Flagstaff, AZ.
