DMV artist Stephn kick-started his music career in 2018, working on his first project “Time Before Us”. Released first as a visual project paired with an EP, he managed to weave together fashion, creative direction, and music to create pure forms of self-expression. His energy did not go unnoticed. After quickly selling out his EP release party, he then opened for Kari Faux. Stephn doesn’t shy away from getting to the root of emotional vulnerability when creating his art. Through this honest approach, he’s able to create a genuine connection with his audience.
QUARTERS OF CHANGE:
Quarters of Change is an Alternative Rock band from New York City which was formed in 2015. Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ben Roter, lead guitarist Jasper Harris, bassist Adrain Ercilla Antrobus, and drummer Attila Anrather. They began jamming together as a high school cover band while attending Beacon High School in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Influenced by bands like The Strokes, Nirvana, Tool, Rage Against The Machine and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The band slowly began writing original music in 2017 and eventually recorded and released their debut self titled album in 2018 in the basement of their high school, often staying after school, hiding from the custodians and school security. After the release of their first album, QOC played sold out shows at venues like Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, and Mercury Lounge in NYC. QOC’s high energy shows typically include dancing, moshing, crowd surfing and an ebullient atmosphere. The band has since gone off to college, however the boys are still at it, frequently releasing new music and planning shows for the upcoming season in New York and abroad.
