Virginia born and based quartet - brothers, David and Kelly Bollmann, Stephen Lee and Matthew Osborn - strike an elusive balance between arena pop, synth-sparked indie, and shoegazing guitar rock. Transformed by this unique song craft, the band became sought-after writers behind the scenes with credits including J. Cole’s -Sparks Will Fly [feat. Jhene Aiko].These projects caught the attention of power-house producer Harmony Samuels [Maroon 5, Fifth Harmony, Chris Brown] who signed them to his B.O.E. Global Music Group. Their long-awaited debut EP “Conversations” is the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to music. Once together, sharing the common experience of musical homes, it didn’t take the four friends long to start writing and performing locally in Virginia Beach. After years of writing, believing and disappointment they have emerged from the industry wringer as OK MAYDAY. Now, the unshakable single “Good” beckons listeners everywhere to join them on this adventure!
At twenty-two years old, Zach Benson is making a name for himself in the world of indie pop. Since age thirteen, Zach has been performing up and down the east coast as a drummer in a variety of bands, ranging from pop punk to indie rock to acoustic pop. Now, Zach is bringing his indie pop sound to the front of the stage. With a high-energy one-man live show, Zach strives to create safe spaces for everyone to dance and sing their hearts out.
His first two EPs, Pretty and Humidity, showcased his quirky and sentimental lyrics, as well as a unique production style. After a summer of touring and promotion, Zach came back with the radio-ready bop “Best Friend's Basement”, a fan favorite that gets crowds moving. Summer of 2018 brought Zach's music into the ears of even more fans, especially with the single “Running Back”, a breakup anthem with a pounding bass and groovy melody. This was followed by the release of his third and final EP Prom, which combined honest lyrics with 80s pop aesthetics and modern indie tropes. Zach has recently released two new singles, “Sunset” and “Deflated”, while he gears up for his debut album."
