DC's own Ayye Moe headlines a Songbyrd Summer Jam!
Ayye Moe was raised in Northeast, Washington DC. He originally was a basketball player. After playing four years of college basketball and one season professionally, he returned home to Washington DC and decided that he wanted to pursue a new journey - Music.
Moe seriously picked up a microphone the beginning of 2018 the and has not looked back since. He has recorded music all over the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area and is beginning to garner buzz on the music scene across the east coast.
He has been on stage with numerous up and coming national acts and held his own. From Kota the Friend, Duval , GFB Fresh to Kodie Shane and many more. He has performed in the legendary club Takoma Station in Washington DC, Club SOB in Manhattan New York, and numerous college campuses in the New York area .
Ayye Moe’s single “Came to Do” has racked up more than 100,000 streams online and really opened the doors for him in 2018. His second single “OO was released on February 22,2019 and his latest single, “Necklace”, was released on April 26th, 2019. Garnering over 3k youtube views within the first 3 weeks
Moe is currently set to release his debut project on June 12. He said that the project entitled “The Crossover”, is, “Filled with anything you can ask for. Rapping. Singing. Slow music. Dance music. Club hit. Chill hits. I am really giving out whatever you can ask for. I have my own sound but I don’t have a box that I can be classified in. I put real life words on beats. That’s what makes them stand out. So hopefully you can relate to the project and enjoy listening to it, as much as I enjoyed making it.”
