Since releasing his debut album ‘Little Giant’ (2014) to critical acclaim, Roo Panes has racked up an excess of 170 million plays on Spotify and over 15+ million views on Youtube / VEVO. He has been described by Uncut as a ‘Britfolk pin up’ whose music ‘taps a deep well of folk heritage.’ Q Magazine has said Panes finds ‘a positive message in thoughts best left in the dark of night.’ His sophomore album ‘Paperweights’ (2016) is equally truthful, with a sound matured, richer but no less authentic.

Roo’s long-awaited third album was released in June 2018 and sees Roo once again work with Chris Bond - a man with numerous production accolades including Ben Howard.

Roo Panes’ music is succinct, honest songwriting, from a place of deep personal expression, resonating with universal truths and values. His is a deep voice, one that sounds aged beyond its years, and yet, it’s telling of timeless stories, endless heartache and forever love. It asks that we all find the right way to see the world around us.

Luke James Shaffer

Luke’s congenial easy-spirited musicality traverses alternative Americana, folk-pop, soul, and the intimate singer-songwriter genre. His warm and soulful vocals have garnered him comparisons to The Lumineers, Vance Joy, Zac Brown Band , and Mumford & Sons. In July 2018 Luke released his first EP, “Volume One” in a partnership with DC’s House Studios. It reached number 7 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. Luke’s song “Siren” received runner-up in the AAA/Alternative in the International Acoustic Music Awards in 2019.

In joining forces with House Music Group in 2018, he found a platform that would nurture his gifts as an artist and support him in the decision to focus on only original music full-time. “They have faith in me. This is a big step that I don’t take lightly,” he says.

As a philanthropist Luke was able to team up with the Global Mental Health Alliance on his song, “We're All a Little Crazy,” which reached the Top 50 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. A portion of the proceeds for this track go directly to the Foundation.

Luke just released his single “Thieves” recorded at 38 North Studios in Falls Church. Followed by his much anticipated EP, “Volume Two”.
