In 2017, NJOMZA released her debut album, “sad for you,” a mournful, soul-searching collection of ballads. In her follow-up EP, “Vacation,” the LA pop singer seems to be in better spirits with her breathy and meaningful tunes.

NJOMZA was born in Germany, raised in Chicago and then moved to LA as an adult, giving her a wide view of different types of people. These vibes are evident throughout “Vacation” and make the EP even more enchanting.

“Ahh-zee-yahn,” better known as Asiahn, this three-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter has built a reputation for being ill with the pen. Her assistance on major hit records for Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus — to name a few — have taken her to the upper-echelons of the game.

Her skill and talent caught the attention of one of the most sought after producers in the game: Dr. Dre. He brought Asiahn into the Aftermath lair to work out a few ideas. The end result was the standout cut, “Just Another Day,” which featured her and Compton MC, The Game. Since then, the two have been putting in the hours to cook up something major, but we’ll just have to wait and see what that final recipe becomes. As a rare jewel in an industry full of fool’s gold, Asiahn utilizes all of her opportunity to the best of her ability, which our earholes thank sincerely.

Tommi is a recording artist from the Maryland side of the tri-state DMV and raised by Sierra Leonean West African parents. Growing with a wide range of different cultures and born at the end of the new jack swing era, has had a major influence on her musical backgroud making her an indie artist favoring R&B/Soul, Ballads and Afrobeat music. Also with her parents unconventional choice of entertainment helped Tommi develop a broader vision of the kind of artist she would be. As a preschooler watching her father as a magician, playing VHS recordings of talent shows, award shows & music videos and singing along to artist like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton & Selena unconsciously prepared her for her goals of becoming an international singing sensation.
