Dark Tones is a music group hailing mainly from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Its live performance arrangement includes electric guitar, electric bass guitar, drums, and occasionally singing, performed in a manner evoking to some the popular 20th century music form “independent rock and roll”. Its members have varied formal training in music performance and usually do not adhere to traditional concert attire when performing. Dark Tones’ latest release is titled ‘North Shore Weirdos’.
Drug Bug began in 2014 as the solo recording project of New York City-based artist and programmer Philip Anastassiou. Since 2016, the project has grown into a full live band, featuring Daniel Durst on bass, Zach Calluori on guitar, and a rotating cast of drummers. They have toured across the Northeast with online premieres by Allston Pudding and Rare Candy, which characterized their music as complete with "haunting verbed out guitar riffs" and "charming robot shriek interludes." Their forthcoming first EP, "Holy Moly", was recorded with Matt Labozza in Brooklyn, NY and Christopher Daly in New Paltz, NY, representing the band's first cohesive articulation of their collaborative efforts over the years
