J Scienide is a true student in the school of emceeing. Hailing from Charlotte NC. This Washington DC transplant is ready to take his talents to the next phase by releasing his first EP "The Actual Heat" the first in a trilogy of EP's on Official Crate Music.

Writing rhymes at an early age for himself and others. He realized he had a knack for witty wordplay and picking obscure sounds to sample and turn into beats. Winning numerous talent shows, battles, and freestyle competitions. The hungry emcee partnered up with fellow emcee/producer/friend to form the group The Lost n Found Dept. under his own label Brooklina Records. Producing and booking shows for the labels artist up and down the east coast.

News started to spread about the group and the unique style of the hardworking emcee who secured a distrubution deal for the label with New York based company Day by Day Ent. run by D.J. Fisher and M.F. Grimm the label also had a budding roster including projects by M.F. Doom and J-Zone.

During the time at Day by Day Scienide put in work releasing a 12 inch feat fellow emcee Supastition called "3 Treacherous". Elemental and Urb magazines gave the record glowing reviews as did the European radio and record stores in Japan. Not one for taking a break Scienide jumped into working with the Atlanta group Prophetix on their debut album which feat such notables as MF Doom, Scienz of Life and Stahrr. This also lead to working with Prophetix deejay Jon Doe on his album which featured the talents of Dudley Perkins, MED, C Rayz Walz and MF Doom.

Today Scienide is a solo artist ready to add onto his art. Releasing several singles in the past months to test the waters in this thirsty hip hop climate things are looking bright and productive. "Working independently being able to create what I want and to see it come into focus is a great feeling" Stay tuned the saga begins
