Alyse Vellturo, also known as Pronoun, is a one-woman band breaking through to the other side of music with her debut EP There's no one new around you. The lead single from her EP, "just cuz you can't," is an emotionally captivating track that channels the evolving timeline of a relationship.

The Boston native and self-confessed emo kid further explains how this one-person band is something that she'd like to keep exploring for a while. "This music is so personal to me, and it's kind of hard to do that with other people." With very personal songwriting and personal production within the comfort of her apartment, pronoun is ruling out the use of a band one lyric at a time.

With "just cuz you can't" focusing on one time frame of a personal relationship, the rest of the EP opens up an entire window of emotional stages that people can go through in an relationship. "The EP outlines the abrupt crumbling of a relationship and the different stages/emotions I went through while it was happening." Even though "just cuz you can't" seems like it could be a slower song, the track is more upbeat than originally anticipated.

Us and Us Only formed as a trio in Baltimore around 2009. After self-releasing four EPs that vary between acoustic arrangements to a warped vision of indie rock that features chopped and sampled vocals alongside more dense and distorted soundscapes, the band has settled into a groove that manages to distill all of those sounds into their first LP. Full Flower finds its home with Topshelf Records in July 2017.

Full Flower is an exercise in letting the light in - the result of a band exploring sonic space throughout its thirteen tracks, weaving smaller, more production intensive vignettes into the larger fabric of Us & Us Only’s trademark see-sawing dynamics. In allowing its home in bedroom ambiance to work in harmony with high fidelity studio prowess, Full Flower is a rock album viewed through the morning haze of half-open eyes.
